該技術(shù)的主要特點(diǎn)是:特異性強(qiáng)、敏感性高、速度快。主要缺點(diǎn)是:非特異性染色問(wèn)題尚未完*,結(jié)果判定的客觀性不足,技術(shù)程序也還比較復(fù)雜。免疫學(xué)的基本反應(yīng)是抗原-抗體反應(yīng)。由于抗原抗體反應(yīng)具有高度的特異性,所以當(dāng)抗原抗體發(fā)生反應(yīng)時(shí),只要知道其中的一個(gè)因素,就可以查出另一個(gè)因素。免疫熒光技術(shù)就是將不影響抗原抗體活性的熒光色素標(biāo)記在抗體(或抗原)上,與其相應(yīng)的抗原(或抗體)結(jié)合后,在熒光顯微鏡下呈現(xiàn)一種特異性熒光反應(yīng)。
